School Governors
Message from Mrs Joanne Reynolds - Chair of the Governing Body.
Hello to all our children, parents and carers.
My name is Jo Reynolds and in December last year, I was elected as the new Chair of Governors for Priory Junior School. Many of you may remember that I taught Class Zazu during the academic year 2023/2024 and sadly, due to personal reasons, made the difficult decision to leave Priory as a teacher in July last year. I have really missed this wonderful school and so am absolutely delighted to have taken up the position of Chair of Governors and be able to continue to make a difference to the education of our children. Although I am new to school governance, I have worked as a teacher for the past 10 years, and prior to that, as a teaching assistant for 6 years. I also have 20 years experience working in industry and so believe I have a rich wealth of experience to offer the school.
Priory Junior School is dedicated to providing the very best education for the children and in my short time at the school as a Class Teacher, the passion, drive and commitment from the staff shone through each and every day. The school is also an integral part of the community and works relentlessly to make sure everyone feels valued and has a voice. I am passionate about ensuring all the children at Priory are safe, happy and enjoy learning at school and I am looking forward to working with you all in the future.
